I read so much that a book has to jump up and slap me to be memorable.
Larry McMurtry's " The Berrybender Chronicles" did just that. Believe the
title is correct though "Saga" seems appropriate. Best thing I have read in a while.

I read azincourt which was a fantastic book, just be prepared for a little language, voilence and gore, all good.

So I finished the Grail Series by Cornwell.
Have Agincourt sitting here but was wondering should this be next or maybe the Saxon Stories?

havent read those yet, but if its Cornwell, its good.

I just started Vagabond. I'm already surprised by some of the events.

Stonedog, thats a good short list you posted above.
I'm a bit of an obsessive reader as well, sometimes 2-3 books / week in spite of 2 jobs, family, & hunting.  Been doing it for decades - finding good books becomes more difficult.
I've been looking for a list of hunting & adventure books, including historical fiction like Cornwell's, and including some SF/F like Tolkein, Martin, Jordan.
Do you by any chance have a list published anywhere, maybe goodreads or one of the swap sites?  I've been meaning to get a couple lists started in the hopes that others would add to my list & I'd find some good reading that way, if you have any suggestions I'd love to hear/see them!
