NICE  ;D  There isn't anything better than a good day of cutting osage.  Seal those ends and start splitting.
I started out with nothin' and I still got most of it left

SNAKEY in that last pic! I want  one of those nasty sumguns! Thats the good stuff Josh. It appears to be male with the dark streaks in it. That stuff is night and day compared to the pale yellow female wood. I wont turn either away mind you!

Good job GunDoc. It is nice to live in Kansas Is'nt it. I think the yellow brick road may have been laid with osage planks, lol

Thanks for the replies, I am paying dearly for that load.  I gotta get a skid loader and soon.  It is nice to have so much access to osage.  I should probably use it more often.  You guys have good eyes to pick out those male logs.  I prefer them as well.  Pearly, you'll have to sweet talk Soy for any of that snakey one.  I have my eye on some more though.  Hopefully it won't be muddy next weekend and I can cut another load. I'm jealous of your trailer Matt.  Nice haul you got as well.  That topper on my pickup is a pain to load them logs into.  Sadie, all you have to do is ask.   Josh

I hear you on the hickory Country.  Be glad you are where you are.  As you well know, it's almost impossible to find West of the flint hills.  Josh
