Hi!
Just saw a nice youtube vid. Not the easiest way to make a bow. Definitely takes a lot of skill to do it this way. Interesting that the belly piece seems to be heat treated and his glue up method is really cool, kind of perry reflex I think.

Excellent, great link, cheers.
Funny to see them walking through the bamboo grove looking for the perfact piece... we all know how that feels.
Smoking the bamboo to caramel colour was interesting too... wonder if he had some fish in there too
