Thanks for comments on the knife.  George that is a new one I made today.  I have been spending the day knapping and making a mess of things around here.

Great looking point & blade!!
Bowmakers are a little bent, but knappers are just plain flaky.

I will take care of the knife.  It needs to be gotten rid of... >:D           

Very nice work on the knife i need to get started on refining my knapping just have lost the motivation.  Tired of breaking them but thats part of it..  Again very very nice work..

You are so right about the challenging rock.  It is only good 1/8 of an inch below the cortex and all of thoses line want to create steps.  The stone is also grainy but it worth all of the work for the color.

Thanks Will! I went to the hardware store to buy those copper nails and about died when I saw the price so I think I am going to make a punch from some of my thicker copper wire. I love those points you have been making and I think I will try to make one this weekend.  Do you use a board below the point and does it have a hole drilled in it?

I know what you mean buddy. I still break them all of the time tring to push my skills.  I am going to trade mine this weeked on a trade table.
