I somehow ended up sending myself the message I meant to send to you somehow, LOL. Anyway, ya, that might work out. It would have to be in a couple months when the sap is running and the bark peels off easy though.

I think your bow looks nice. On your next one maybe try to get a little more bend coming out of the handle. It's tricky not to overdo it and get set there but a little movement near the handle translates to a lot of tip movement, I only mean a little more bend there if you get set in the inner limbs you've over done it....re-curves are a balancing act :D

That's a nice looking bow you have there.  I had a similar problem with the Sudbury I made for my son.  Every time I flipped it over, the bottom limb looked weak.  Must be an optical delusion ;)
