Horse Creek Andice
« on: February 26, 2012, 08:46:47 pm »
I did some horse trading this weekend. I got a "variety bucket" of material from a freind on my way to AR to visit friends and family. I just couldnt wait when I got back home today so I dove right in to the HC! Knocked out this little andice with the first piece I picked up. Cant wait to dive in a little deeper! I got some Flint ridge, Harvester, HC, Burlington, colored Novaculite... a little of everything  :)  Gonna try to knock out some nice ones this week.  ::)  We'll see! Wish me luck!   ;) :) :)

Don't have the words to say how cool that looks!!
Bowmakers are a little bent, but knappers are just plain flaky.

Unreal...the color, the pattern on the rock and your craftsmanship...match made in heaven bud!  One for the case for certain (and in my case I'd have to hang up my tools cause I could never hope to top that one  8))

Thanks you guys! This is by far the coolest material I've ever worked. I had to force myself not to freak out about breaking it and just treat it like any other rock  :o when I got finished I finally took a breath ;) pucker factor was off the charts :)

Usually with HCC, the little pieces are the best quality. ;)
Be thankfull for all you have, because no matter how bad you think it is...it can always be worse.
