another kid bow
« on: February 19, 2012, 02:02:09 pm »
This one is going to a 9 year old boy. His dad asked me to make it for him for his birthday. It's maple, with a little purple heart and bocote. I'll be makin dad one in march. It's 18# @ 24", antler arrow rest, and I found some more fabric with snake skin print on it for the backing. Turned out ok, but the fabric is a little dark for my taste. I'm sure the boy will love it though. Thanks for lookin.

Looks good. Did you back it with bocote, then cover part of it with snakeskin or is there just bocote on the ends?

Thanks guys, the bocote is just on the ends. It is just a veneer.
