Didgeridoo wanted
« on: January 25, 2012, 09:50:14 pm »
Hey guys, i am wanting a natural materials digeridoo or a nice piece of giant yucca or giant rivercane (bamboo)  so i can make one. I like to play one but all I have is a junky pvc one, sounds good but ugly and no "primitive"  anyone have any suggestions?

if anyone has a real authentic didgeridoo, like,  hollowed out wood with character and a bell on the end, i would gladly trade a bow for it.

Ryan, you're here now. There is Bamboo everywhere. ??? ;)

If you have to pull the trigger, is it really archery?

I have one from PVC. It works great, but its not natural of course. Makes my mouth numb after too long!
Only when the last tree has died and the last river has been poisoned and the last fish has been caught will we realize we cannot eat money.

Do you drill out the 'partitions' as soon as you cut it? I have been told that ill help cut down on the cracking.

Could you do it like the NA flute? split wood and gouge/router the inside out then glue the sides back?
