First hunting size point
« on: February 16, 2012, 11:15:47 pm »
Please excuse the bad webcam shots and me in the background lol. This is the first point I've made that's OK regulation size for hunting. It's by no means perfect, but I'm pretty sure it'll get the job done. Opinions, tips and critiques are most welcome.

Thank you very much Tower. I have no idea what the material is, as I haven't done any research into that area. I do know that it's gray with thick black bands (I was dissapointed that they didn't make it into the point due to reduction). This point was made from a "pebble" from the Ft. Gibson, OK area. I really should read up on the different types around here lol.

Thanks alot guys, it really is addicting, and yes I am going to haft it just as soon as I get around to making up some ppg. Got all the materials, just got to find the initiative lol. I just looked up Dalton points and I guess it kinda does look like one. All I was going for was thin, sharp and the right size, so that's cool!
