This winter I had terrible score and one of the reasons is snow. Barely one bow in last month. With -13 F and snow to my belt this is one very good winter, just I like. Bad thing is that I am disturbed a little in my work. First pic shows my workshop, covered with snow. Other pics are lastest bow, elm longbow. Started with 4" reflex, has some character, and heat treated in Marc's manner in that shape. 2" held reflex just after unbracing, 3" reflex after some time. It is 74" ntn, 30 x 22 mm, 70# 30". Most of the cross section is with oval belly, I thought it is safe because belly was good treated. Walnut stained, pig fat finished.
Sub zero cold didn't affect tillering and shooting this bow.
