Here are some pics from the same tree run through the grizzly 4 weeks ago the darker of the two I put linseed oil on to pop the grain(bottom pic.)

Ok some pics.of the wet stuff...stopped @ a local  wood cutters shoppe to verify red elm and he was in agreement. I could stop @the sawmill or contact a forester but I think that will not be needed .....
