PVC bent into the shape of a braced hornbow? cus i dont see a string on it where it looks braced

yep we bent it with heat, i watched some guy on youtube do it and gave it a shot, and you're right there is no string in braced photo

 I realized that the horsebow only bends in the bends and the handle, made a longbow and it works better
i also have a pic of josh (friend ) holding the bow with an ear 2 ear grin but computer wont let me post it >:(

Those look pretty neat..... Just a heads up though this thread will most likely be moved to around the campfire because pvc is not a natural material....

josh is a great shot and we tried to make a black birch bow but apparently you cant cut down sapings in green spaces :embarassed: :embarassed: so we just played it safe and made one of these. its not natural or the kind of bow that i like and as long as he walks away grinning like a fool i feel like i did a good job
