Great pictures!  Thanks!!!  Makes a feller want to take up the Warbow! :)

I really hope you do take it up Joe, it is very addictive and as recent posts have shown, people can get very passionate about it.

I just might Steve.  I've always been a fan of the ELB and have made several Victorian style ones,,, the Warbow seems to be a
good challenge and one I just might try an tackle someday.

I'm not sure what you mean Ronnie??
Charger meaning horse or a lame attempt to poke fun at the fellow on whose shoulders you were riding.

Actually I had a good laugh at that.

Nearly right Ian, he made 5 out of the 7 in the picture, the others I made.

Nice bows.  Just out of curiosity how many bows have you made Steve?

Hi Marc, well its hard to say exactly, Warbows...probably over 300, flight bows ...maybe 30 odd, reflex/deflex bows...about 10, Victorian style Longbows....about 30,
Without going back over all my sales invoices I can't give you exact figures.

Cheers

OK, here is a picture taken of me shooting the 140lb laminate I have made; in the military arrow flight shoot at an EWBS event (sidenocks of course ;-)

Here it is on the tiller (nearly finished)

And a video I took recently of me shooting my 125lb target bow:  VIDEO

here is a section slowed down which I created to see if its possible to figure out the arrow speed from a video (if you look closely you can see the arrow)

I have just placed an order for a video camera which records upto 1000 frames per second - so I should have some really interesting vids soon :-)

BTW - The one above is 30 frames per second
