what a great gift for a son,
its great that the little guy is raised around men making things.
Many dads are way too busy getting fat on the couch to be bothered .
I made a hickory bow very similar,for my grandson last year ,but he was a little too young and dangerous!
but hopefully when he comes visiting in March we'll be able to shoot together.
Kids remember this stuff their whole lives.
I made wooden knives, daggers, and swords for my son and daughter ,from various hardwoods and they still survive today,
some a little worse for wear from battle scars, but their imaginations were sharpened intensely, they played in the woods
and had no idea what a video game was. Their life was a lot better for it.
