Oooga-booga. Here are some abo implements ta gather food. Top is throwin' stick ya have seen made outta sour orange. Next is small fish spear head made outta hibiscus branch. Will have boo spear pole. Next is large fish spear head I aint finished yet with barb and cordage rope. Both spear heads will go inta bamboo pole. Large will have removable head and hole with cordage rope so ya can play fish and boo pole will float on top of water. All were made in about 3 hours start ta finish. Tools used were flake, coral rock. Hmm what ya think the "sharp" thing with blood (mine) on it is fer ?

You are right looks like a thorn but Lantanas don't have thorns do they? I didn't think bouganvilla did either. but locust or hawthorns do and then there is that tropical bush with the pretty red flowers that has those thorns "crown of thorns" or jerusalem thorns...

Oh yeah, good ol' bouganvillea thorns. We used to grow those #@%^$&*! things in a greenhouse, I've probably still got scars on my arms from pruning 'em and moving 'em around.

Yep,Steve is right. You really learned to hate them growing up running around barefoot.Marie was right,Lantana doesn't have thorns that big.I meant to say Spanish Bayonet.
