the asiatic style horse bow bends mostly at the fades and the first few inches of the limb,leaving the remainder of the limb, and the siyah, to act as a lever. To me that seems like a waste of the stored energy in the last few inches of the limb, (in the case of my bow, that would equate to aprox. 4.") SO, I have tillered it so that the whole limb is working from the fades, all the way to the siyahs. The siyahs are 6"from tip to heel.
