Hi everyone!
I just want to give a brief intro of me and my bow!
I am live the Chicago IL area and have returned to archery after a long absence, about 20 years to be exact!
Formerly a compound user, I have been indoctrinated by my friend who is a bowyer himself into primitive archery.
I am a target shooter primarily and can't wait to explore the boards here and meet you all!
My bow, made by Johnny Beecroft in TX, my image is too large to attach right now.
It is Osage Orange with horn tips and a rattlesnake back.
The tips are recurved about 5" at each end.
The bow is 72" long has a #40 draw and 29" draw length.
One question I have that maybe I can get an answer to is who would have used a bow of this style and size??
Most primitive bows I have shot are shorter than this, sometimes by 12".
Thanks!
