Love the bow. M.p,there is sapwood on this bow. Sinew backing juniper is the only way to make it last for many years. Hope you left a little extra on those knots.

sweet looking bow Ryan. Don't know how similar erc is to juniper but I have one Ed Scott did that is sinew backed and 58" long but he only suggested I pull it 27".

Another beauty Ryan. A thin layer of sinew is probably a good idea for ERC.
Guar, ERC is a true junpier...Juniperus virginiana.
