Also you can just wrap the stave with shrink wrap and slap a label on it. Saves putting it in a box or tube and increasing the diameter size.

Hopefully, you will be seeing the pile of staves and some of the ends.  Some of the staves, with a little luck, might yield 2 bow blanks.  They are still quite wet and heavy. 

I enjoy the process of wittling a stave down to size and would prefer to receive them whole, but I certainly can understand why, for mailing purposes, trimming them up a bit might be in order. 

I am game to try a trade if you still interested.  Tonkin shafts sound interesting.  I can always use feathers and POC shafting.  The osage sapling too.  I could also use some rawhide.
