Damn Katt what happened to your shop ? It looks all neat and, well, purty.

That sure looks like a decent bow ol' JohnK sent ya, full draw is killer.

Sweet bend, Chuck. Someone ought to be proud to own that one, for sure!!

I got my #2 tillered out yesterday, did most of the sanding today and shot it about 100 times. I'm rounding off the handle tonight and putting on the tip overlays and a couple coats of shellac to seal it. Tomorrow I'll take of work and put a couple coats of poly and the handle so It can go out by Tue., the 17th deadline. This one shoots every bit as good as the first one. Osage and ipe are fine woods to work with and very forgiving.

Great bow Katt!!!  Well done JohnK :)

Just in time. Took my time getting started then broke #1. Got this one done though. Just under 60" ntn. True d bow. Pulls in the mid 40# range at 27". Had to work around a few knots. Rocky Mt juniper with elk sinew back, backed with lingcod skin. Sending it out tomorrow

That  looks like a bow that needs a California address :)  Sweeeeeeet bend !!!

Came home to find a large black tube on the porch, and instent  ;D came on my face !

I opened it up to find a fine Dee rawhide backed Hickory bow, made by Rick Wallace. It has a cool camo painting on the back.

Great bow Rick, i will shoot it this weekend for sure !  :)

Recieved a bow from alex b today. 68 1/2 t2t 46# @ 26" hickory with a touch character. Thanks alex im in love with it already. Ive only shot about about 2 dozen shots so far bcause its 96 degrees out. Grabed 2 arrows on my way out the door after opening it and it groups so tight it only took around 10 shots befor i ruined  one of them. I will try to post pictures tomorrow evening.

Hey guys.
Ive got some pics of my trade bow.
I'm way behind schedule due to work out of state.

Dont worry! It's on its way!

Rawhide backed One Seed Juniper. 56" total (I think... I tend not to measure, weigh or over analyze my bows...)
Ive drawn it to 22(ish)" and it sure zips an arra!
Started dead flat and has taken just under 1/2" of set. Bends just a touch through the handle.
I just picked up some tip alignment issues, so a drawn pic is gonna have to wait.

Btw
Lower limb in photo is upper limb when bow is in hand.
Hence the slightly stiff limb on top in photo.

My wife just left with a long white tube headed to the shipping store!! The last few days have been kinda hairy around here trying to meet this deadline. Thank goodness I could take a couple of days off. This was my first trade to be involved in but I will definitely do it again. I think it brings out the best in me at least. I know I'm not the only one that wound up having to make multiple bows due to wood that wouldn't cooperate. I spent the majority of time on #1 which left very little time for the one that was sent which was actually #3. #2 didn't break, but some crystals appeared after a hundred shots, or so. I hope my recipient likes the bow I sent and I want to thank all of you for all your help and advice.

(I already posted this in Gun Doc's thread but I thought I'd share it here too.)

Here are some pictures of me with my new, sweet bow. Congrats on BOM, Josh. You definitely got my vote!  ;D Oh, and I got out shooting yesterday and let me tell you this bow is a screamer.  >:D

Ronan is still working up to a 60# draw weight ;)
