My osage is my first bend through handle design

This will be my first 'intentional' ::) bend through the handle bow as well.
Bowmakers are a little bent, but knappers are just plain flaky.

Well this may be my trade bow but I am not sure yet.......will have to see.  It is a hackberry stave.  Let me hack on it some and make a decision.
I have a Black Locust stave that I am tempted to start on but not sure.

Shoot I may go for hickory backed ipe also............decisions decisions................
Happy hunting to all!

If you have to pull the trigger, is it really archery?

I got my trade bow tapered both ways, now it's ready to be tillered. The tapering brought it so close that I think tillering should go really fast. Well, for me, anyway. I may be slow but I'm old enough that people don't say much about it nowadays. I think I mentioned earlier that this is my first HBI and my first longbow. I've already fallen in love with ipe and longbows.    Rob
If I knew what I was doing, I'd probably be bored with it, and I wouldn't be here.

Paul, nice brace looking great!

Got three staves to floor tiller today,   #1 snaky VM   #2 Cascara Character.   #3 ERC Flat bow

Eddie, I was having the same problem so I grabbed three staves and dove in on all three. Hopefully will have at least two bows
