Couple of stickers
« on: January 30, 2012, 12:01:00 pm »
Just finished up a couple more knives.  The first one is 10" OAL, with a 5.5" blade.  All the shaping work done with a hammer and file.  Cholla handle and a rawhide over veggie tan sheath.

The next one is 10", with a 4.75" blade.  Deer femur handle, with a rawhide "repair", and a poured pewter bolster.  I was running low  on leather, so I made a center seam sheath for this one.

Nice looking stickers Jonathan. Both look 'mean' but I favor the first one more.

Thanks guys, I appreciate it.  I've got quite a bit of work to do on my fit and finish, but hopefully that will get better over time.  I had hoped to leave the bone one forge finished, but ended up having to grind on the bevels a little.  That one's probably headed over to the trade blanket.
