Arrow Rests

I'm going to start with: You guys weren't kidding. This hobby is ADDICTING.

Anywho, I was wanting to try an arrow rest out on my Longbow.  I don't really want to have to do any "permanent" modification in case I don't like the rest as much as shooting off the had.  Anyone have any ideas?

An easy rest is to cut some thick leather that sticks off the grip, just glue it to the bow or grip in a way where you can remove it whenever you'd like

The grip is a somewhat cruddy hemp cord wrapped around it.   I've been wanting to leather wrap it. If i did that, it'd definitely make sense to make an arrow rest that way.

Cut a golf tee in half lengthwise and glue one half to the side of the handle.

I'll 3rd the golf tee method. I learned it from John Strunk, it's easy, it looks good and it works great.

You could do a ferrets floppy and wrap the bottom and the top...
