Tung Oil Applications
« on: January 27, 2012, 11:26:30 pm »
How many coats of tung oil would you recommend. I've already applied two coats, and it already looks pretty good, but I've heard of guys putting on half a dozen applications. Will more coats really make a difference?

As long as you allow each coat to dry, the more you apply the more water resistant the wood gets.  I like tung oil because it's not toxic but there are better finishes out there if you need something quick.
Any critter tastes good with enough butter on it.
