Small knife~ first.

So I whiped out this little knife and a few heads from the same sort of philosophy. Find a flake tha looked useable and do what it takes to make the blade come out. There are whole sections that have no knapping. I just shaped up the flake, got rid of the curvature and cleaned up the edge. I hafted it into a stick cut from a tree in my garden. Not certain what kid of tree. If anyone knows I'd love to know. The wood is purple when cut but then looses the purple hue as it dries. I have no idea what the stone is either. I was sent a box of all sorts of lovely stuff.
I hafted it with artificial sinew and TB3 which is worked into the wrappings and in the blade slot. I's quite stable and quite sharp.

Nice looking little skinner you got there, good job. Looks like it might be some high grade basalt, not positive though. Jamie might know.

Another one. This one has a gut hook.
7" long. Seems like the only thing that moves on my Etsy site is the knapped work and my woodcarving, so now I make these.

Looks like an aboriginal scalpel. Get yourself a bone needle, some sinew for stitching and you can be the tribes surgeon.
