i know im dragging up the last minute on this trade and i apologize to my recipient . i couldnt figure out what to make i toyed with atlatl and darts and other things and then i remembered something about my recipient . so i decided the best thing would be father and son bows. here they are ready to ship crepe myrtle staves dads is 58 1/2 inches nock to nock , sons is 35 inches nock to nock. lightly stained with homemade osage and rusty nail alcohol stain , and walnut overlays

Very sweet profiles on them, Ken.....nothin new though most all of yours are dead-on.....looks like that 36" fits ya right fine >:D

Very thoughful gesture with the twin bows Ken. You must have one HUGE pile of Crepe around man. I have seen a bunch of them for you in the last year.

Pearly , i got about 23 trunks last year , still have about a dozen staves left and one of my buds wives told him he had to remove 6 from thier yard . each has about half a dozen trunks so ill be getting more .

Those are two sweet bows.  I wish I knew crepe myrtle was good bow wood 5 years ago.  I helped someone cut and burn a bunch.
I started out with nothin' and I still got most of it left
