Can you believe this? Kids nowadays! I told him I would pay him $5 CASH for each log he split into as many staves as they offered. I told him that whole pile pays $30...................he agreed and got started. Should I feel bad taking advantage of my own? I dont... :P

$30!  You're a generous fella!  My pappy woulda said "get out thar and split it er else!"  I, however, might've paid mine $10 for the whole batch :P

I broke my maul (again) and had to use the sledge as the maul. He got two done and froze. Its only about 20 out today.
