St. Charles Dovetail
« on: January 01, 2012, 11:47:54 pm »
Well heres my first point for the new year  :)  I decided to try a dovetail after looking over a couple of John Thomas's the other night. It ended up 5"x 1 1/2" x 5.5:1 ratio made from some Sedalia chert I got from Shannon. He also hooked me up with his old copy of the overstreet manual so I could start learning some more point types. Thanks again Shannon! And thanks Jesse for everything man! You have really helped my knappin skills! We will miss you while your in Hawaii 8)
Thanks fer Lookin! :o :o

Ahh, you are having fun now Will! Now you need to replicate every point in that Overstreet book just for the practice :). I thought about doing that one time, hmm hmm.. That is a very nice blade there bty..
