need some horn
« on: December 31, 2011, 04:11:53 pm »
any body got any horn other than something black stuff that will go good with copperheads.

I have whitetail rawhide and some rock. Not sure what the rock is but it flakes good. Nothing big but plenty good size for some heads.

I need to find out what kind of rock it is.

Some grey bull horn sounds pretty cool. How much for 1 set of backing?

Just looking for enough to do a couple bows. Always good to have some laying around too for later bows. I need to get up some pics of the rock. It came from Dubois county IN.

I'm assuming you need the horn for tip overlays and not belly laminations. I can send a dozen or so 3/4" x 2" strips for overlays if that will work for you. You'll need to sand one side flat. Steve

Ibex that's exactly what I'm needing. I also do some over lays on the fades from time to time and those sound like they will work fine.

send me a pm with your address and let me know how wide you need your rawhide. I think it's at least 38" long or longer.
