  I only shoot one arrow at a time practiceing. Very seldom shoot across the yard unless I'm shooting in a bow I just made. Besides good arrows are to hard to make. At least for me.

I have fixed arrows like that before. I superglue it shut then i wrap the nock area with thread with superglue over the top of the thread. I wrap from the nock down to the feathers.

Yes you can fix it - no problems.
Run superglue along all edges of the cracks/splits. I use a rubberband cut so it's a strip then simply wrap around the shaft to 'clamp' it up. When set remove the band and sand off the bits left on the shaft. I've done this with many arrows and never had one break at the fix.

If it was posted by someone else, I would say the person was bragging. 

But iowabow is such a tightwad he sends his wife deer hunting without bullets.  She has had to resort to running them off bridges!  No, he really is trying to figure out if he can save this ruined arrow.  That'll teach him to practice so much!

I have about 6 targets set up and only shoot one or two arrows @ each one @ one time.  Arrows are too valuable to be needlessly busting.  Then I have a small target back in the yard I shoot one or two @ on the way back.
