Hey guys I just recently moved to northern New Mexico. I brought with me some bow wood. A few very nice yew staves, some ocean spray and a bit of vine maple.
As far as humidity goes the Ocean spray seems to be fine.
I know Vine maple likes it humid, but what about Yew?
Should I wait until monsoon season to start working my yew staves? I' havnt even shot my vine maple bows for fear of busting em.
What woods are recomended for very low humidity, high desert areas?
