great bow for your first , wouldnt worry about improving it , just accept what you've made and they will keep on geting better, it takes a few to get a bow your satisfied with......

That's a great first bow!! My first came in 30 something pounds and I was shootingfor 45 to 50.  I like the tips :)

That's a nice first bow. My first four just broke and my first couple shooters had the same issue, only I left the tips too stiff too, and all the set was midlimb.  Best just to enjoy that one, and apply what you learned to the next one.  Oh, and welcome to the club.
