hello from BAMA
« on: December 20, 2011, 05:52:33 am »
just thought i'd intoduce myself. names Josh and i'm from Sylacauga Alabama. been shooting bows off and on most of my life. got a compound a few years ago to get back into slinging arrows but just didn't like it. found a longbow here local, got it, and i'm loving it again. just this year started trying, key word is trying, to make my own bow. it's been a steep learning curve so far, i think i've figured out 1000 ways to carve wood just enough to break it very easily  ;D . still hunting with my storebought LB for the moment but hopefully that will change. glad to be here and have learned a few things i've been doing wrong in just the last few days reading here.
the only easy day was yesterday and that's how i like it.
