Greg: your basement is about as clean and organized as i've ever seen - don't know how you keep up with it all..

Now I suppose you think I should finish cleaning mine !
I have only been working at it for 3 years now!
I can finally get the doors open and my wife said to pitch the stuff in the fridge ,fridge and all but I think I can save it ! The fridge that is  !
I have hauled out 3 truck loads of wood so far (sold most of it) sold most of the blacksmithing stuff , Gave some stuff to the kids, and hope to be able to work on bows indoors someday soon !
But I doubt it!

I usually just tie a rope around my waist when I wade in, tie the other end to a post outside-just to make sure I can find my way back out.  No room for a fridge.  Mullet, I do have room for your bandsaw, grinder, staves, etc.

You can't get nothing done in a clean shop...what are you thinking?

Gulp!  Burned wood?!?!?!?!?   Surely it was only pine?
I like to leave lots of things in the middle of my garage to make it harder for theives to make their escape.
I have plans to clean out my garage, but its too hot in the summer and too cold in the winter, sping and fall just don't last long enough.
By the way,.....what's in the fridge that encourages so much traffic across the shop?

Kpete, When I was in Canada last year my wife said the Police were chasing a car thief and he made the mistake of running into the shop with the lights out. She said she heard him tripping and wood falling everywhere and then screaming when they sent the dog in after him. ;D Then they also charged him with destoying private property for bleeding all over my floor and wood.

wow,
You live in a tough neighborhood!  Maybe if you were to drive a hog in there he'd turn into sausage after one lap around the shop.
I have spilled blood in my shop and never got charged with anything but being stupid.
