Uses for Sumac Wood/Branch?
« on: December 18, 2011, 01:07:09 am »
I have a branch of a sumac tree that's about 4 ft high. I heard it glows under a black light. Any ideas on how to use it, what to make out of it or do with it? Something fun to do and interesting looking.

Believed by some Native American tribes to foretell the weather and the changing of the seasons, for this reason it was held as a sacred plant.

Don't know how true that is but it's interesting.  You could use it as a walking stick if it's strong and thick enough.
