Thanks Will and pappy
And I will have a problem because I am soaking two hair on hides and want to pull the large doe out so that I can remove the hair for another buckskin so I can make a shirt.  Anyway I will also have to drag it in the dirt to get the brown color rather than the orange brown that I see in the hide that was clean.  Anyway it was a lot of work but the second time around should not be as hard because I am going to wait till spring to finish it.  The temp will be warmer and the work should be shorter.
