« on: December 13, 2011, 08:35:47 pm »
Hello people!

Made a ELB from yew! And im realy pleased with the outcome! ;D
Ok, Its the first elb for me so... i think i did ok.
Specs. 70" ntn pulls around 60# at 28"draw, made of european yew .Ive seen better staves then this one..But for a first try i think i did good on that issue..
Nocks are made of very hard african blackwood root, after i messed up my cowhorn nocks :-\

Very, very nice.  I like your nocks!  What a nice attention to detail.  And yes, the tiller is very good.  There's no way to tell that this is your first ELB bow.

Nothing wrong with that bow! Your tiller is very good, and the nocks are very unique. For your first yew ELB, you did outstanding. Nice work.

Why does the top limb appear to be 10-12" longer than the bottom?
