Man, you really know how to make "my kind" of bows!  What a wonderful piece and the bends, curves, draws, etc are stellar!  Never disappointed when I open a thread on a bow made by you.  Well done!!!

Chuck:

You certainly nailed this one!  What a gorgeous bow.  The braced, unbraced and full draw profiles are exemplary.  Beautifully decorated, I can't say enough about this one.  You have that Rocky Mt Juniper down to a science.   I'm certain it will be an inspiration for all.   ;)

Thank you everybody. The string is just waxed nylon. It casts an arrow, costs less than a buck, takes 15 min to make and lasts longer than sinew. I still prefer sinew but this is easier. Here are a couple closer pictures of the tips. I copied em from the Miwoks. Sinew formed into hooks. I covered these ones with rawhide for looks and to protect the skin from the string over time. This is also the improvement I will make on the next one of these. I left the wood too thick on the tips and it didn't hit me till after I made it thicker with the hook nocks. Taking some mass off the tips for a faster arrow. I would call this bow a hybrid. I copied cultures from throughout the western US and threw in eastern Europe, with a dash of what I have seen on this site.
Thanks again
Chuck

Very cool Chuck!  You have outdone yourself with this one!  Considering the works of art you've done before, that was not a small thing to do. 5 curves are by far my favorite NA bows.  Well done!  Josh
