« on: December 24, 2011, 03:58:01 pm »
Just got finished in time for christmas with this skinner for my uncle. The overall length of the knife is 8 inches, blade is 4 inches and handle is 4 inches. The handle is made out of spalted maple burl with brass pins and lanyard hole and the blade is made out of sawmill sawblade stock. The sheath is made out of dyed leather, rawhide and prairie rattlesnake skin.Hope he likes it.

I love the way you made such utilitarian objects into items of beauty.  The sheath is a work of art, your uncle is a lucky man.
