Tri lam longbow/war question!

Hi guys,
a question for Tri lam bow - I made ​​a bow from three lams/idea is for 110-115 lbs/, bamboo back, Iroko for core and Ipe belly.
boo - 4mm
Iroko - 6mm
ipe - 19mm
The problem is that bow out shorter than expected, only 74 "ntn. The question is - whether this length will work effectively over 100 lbs.
Now the dimensions are - 31х26 in the handle and the tips are 13x13.
Length bothers me more - 74 " to have a little ..

74" is not too short for that poundage. You made good choice of laminations, but it is maybe little narrower that it should be. I think you will not have problems with that poundage with carefull tillering.

Good, a belly round or square?
I made similar bow before a short time - only Boo and Ipe. Belly is rounded. Now is still square. Bow is very hard and maybe a little misleading.

I beleive you will easily get that poundage  at that length.... those materials can easily take it, especialy if you are making it in the style of your previous bow....... I have never done it myself though... although I have experience with those woods and bamboo....

Going to be good to see this bow, I don't think you will have any problems with that weight and that length bow. Just remember with Ipe you can get the tips really small, thinner the better.

And you will want a rounded belly with Ipe.

I was risking and it is .. a little more work on the upper limb ..
The bow not yet total measuring, but is really heavy ..
of first pic I am under stress - worried about the explosion  after finished more data ...

I have to say the lightest looking Ipe I have ever seen though, is it the flash that makes it look like that or is that its real colour?

I think it's a shadow. I had to look at it a couple of times. I thought it had a thin strip down the center.

Shadow yes, of seconn pic grip is slightly below from center. But I think the bow are need to adjust in the upper limb - very little in the middle. Little stiff out there

Lower limb looks more strained. I should turn that bow upper limb to be lower to see what happens, must be better.

Also - ipe at the end remains very thin. Iroko core is soft wood and gives it a set in the end of a limbs(1,5").

tiller looks good to me.....nothing is perfect in this world,,,, but that looks close enough,,,,powerfull bow,well done...(the ipe belly looks very thin, you could have made it thicker, with less iroko ,if you want some constructive criticism)
