How many of you shoot arrow shafts that are larger than 11/32?

Most of mine are 3/8 or slightly larger depending on if I'm too lazy to take them down all the way.

i have about 25 shoots seasoning right now of varying different diameter, most probably 5/16 to 3/8 or so. I am thinking i will scrape the bark off of them and if they are too stiff, scrape some wood off but otherwise i don't think i'll worry about diameter for this set. Straighten them, fletch them, shoot them. If they are too stiff, i can always take off some more wood, right?  :P Gotta start somewhere i guess.

23/64ths
Guns have triggers. Bicycles have wheels. Trees and bows have wooden limbs.

My commercial made POC is 11/32. The western red ceder I make is between 3/8 / 1/2 inch. Still working on cane and bamboo. I bought some bamboo off ebay. listed as 50# spine. they are less then 5/16 (I think). Little bitty suckers.
Bowmakers are a little bent, but knappers are just plain flaky.

11/32 sitka spruce have a maximum spine of 74# or so, there is no reason for me to go thicker than 11/32. I don't make my own shafts

Most of my wood arrow shafts are 23/64 barrel tapered to 5/16 and the bamboo shafts between 8-10mm.
I found many years ago that it is much easier and more rewarding working with those that don't know anything than those that know it all.
