Jawbone Knife!
« on: November 11, 2011, 04:57:41 pm »
Hi guys, I don't get on as much as I would like to but I had a quick moment to take a picture of a knife i made for a gift to whom ever..I'm not sure who I'm giving it to yet Christmas is around the corner.  I have a few similar already made but since my hands were still sticky from the pine sap I decided on displaying it.  Thanks for looking!

Time, dedication, cuts, tons of broken rock, a wife, and perhaps a few girlfriends are some of what it takes in becoming a skilled flint knapper!!!

Thanx for the comments I cleaned it up some as in the picture i used a little too much pine, also from the flash on the camera really does make the micro serations appear larger than they are and does kinda look like a saw ...lol  have a good day!
