fawn crop

has anyone in the drought striken midwest noticed a shortage of fawns ? in n e ok. i hunt 5 mornings a week and havent seen one yet. i think a shortage of green food this summer weakened them and they became yote food. the coyotes seem abundent this year. they stole a nice hide from a tub of lye on my front porch.  just wondering if others are not seeing fawns this year, if so, it would mean a reduced herd size for several years.  thanks   butch

Got plenty fawns over here with me......them coyotes must have really liked that lye water LOL.

We have too many fawns up here in Mich. Every doe has two or three in tow until the bucks run them off during the rut. We didnt suffer any serious droughts this year though.

To many fawns is right Pearl! I try not to shoot does that still have fawns with them, but the last couple years thats all I'm seeing.
