Hi guys,

I made another one.  I'll try to get the full draw photo later.  For now here is what I got.  49# at 28" can be drawn to 30ish.  Flat puts bunny blunts clean through a box at 15 yards (when you hit it :P)

I'm wondering what to name her.

Thanks,
Scott

Heres irony for ya, I got a piece of bamboo and two pieces of lathe hickory layin on the bench waitin to be glued into a reflex/deflex design. Was wonderin how the combo would work and if TBIII hold it all together. Guess i better wait for awhile to post mine cause Im pretty sure it wont look as good as yours does. Do you think the 2 quater inch lams will be enough to hit 55# draw weight? And how long/wide did you go?

One more thing... My names Scott also.

Turquoise is in the arrow rest, and the tip overlays as well as the walnut riser.  I use it because I self harvest much of my wood and often the drying process creates small cracks that I prefer not to cut away so long as they don't affect structural integrety.  it seemed like a bit small so I created some cracks in the African Blackwood accents.

Glue is Urac 185.  I use a heat gun to slightly prebend the center  and also slightly sanded it to help.  Tip overlays and arrow rest is on with Gorilla super glue.  The Turquoise matrix is crushed, the cracks are flooded with super glue and the matrix poured in, and adjusted with a BBQ skewer.

sorry.

having lighting issues I think.  The camera won't focus on the close up.

I would like to convert this bow to other goods.
