Dane, I'll second the recommendations on the Waldorf and Whittaker books, both were very helpful to me and helped me understand a lot of things that it would have taken years to figure out on my own. Waldorf now has a companion video that goes with the book, too.

dane you could also just get together with me and break some rock. let me know if ya got time one weekend.readin and doin are 2 different things. i definetly reccomend the books but being with somebody that breaks rock helps put it all together. peace

Thanks Brian. Do yo knap? Their's ton's of folks in MO that do, that's where I got the novaculite - come's from there and Arkansas somewhere, plus lot's of other good flints hid off in them mountains.
