A buddy of mine had 11 cedar shafts that he obviously wanted to give away. heck yeah I'll take 'em.
so I started thinking that if I leave 'em long and use a bit heavier broadhead (or field point) than I normally would
then they should be fine even for a 50# selfbow.
I draw 26", thought I'd leave the arrows 29" long and glue on a 145 grain broadhead. that should make 'em
roughly 50-55 unless I'm forgetting something.....
for that matter I guess it really couldn't hurt to leave 'em full length, seal 'em, fletch 'em and shoot 'em to
see how they fly. maybe that's the better idea.
