varabow wanted?

Hi
I've been studying the history of the Penobscot bow and found this Varabow ad from the '50's, att..
I want to buy one and hope someone on here knows of one or owns one?

BTW the Penobscot bow is a bow, but it appears the original was a made up one in 1901

Ok, lemme get this straight (straight is a bad word to some bowyers)....the limb forks to the back of the bow appear stiff and the rearward limbs bend.  Then the rubber bands between them are changeable so that they can induce less or more resistance to "vary" the poundage of the bow?

Clever, clever indeed.  One of the many evolutionary dead ends that led to the wheelie bow!

Yes a fascinating bow and I want one (can't explain why!)
The main bow is rigid, but apparently so is the small bow. It has a swivel hinge built in to the main bow. It looks like all the weight is in the rubber bands?
I'd love to see one shoot. I wonder if they sold many and did any survive?
