I sure did Chris,and showed her the pic online. I am a mushball,got it from mom,n I was shaky n almost in tears myself.

Great work om the finish..... that was a great shooting bow!!!Josies uncle(the blacksmith) is gonna make a bow from the sister stave.

That's some real interesting character in that bow.
It finished up well and has a good primitive look for sure.

Thanks Bill...hope he can make a bow out of it,and id like to see it if he does. I think mine was the worser of the two,but you know that kind of wood is my forte and I like a challenge some of the times.

That's awesome that your mom appreciates what you've done. You are a skilled craftsman. Your workshop is pretty incredible as well. Now I feel bad for just getting my mom some kitchen utensils.
