Well, I got her almost finished...
53"t/t, sinew backed osage(stave from Gary Davis), 52#@26", 13.5 oz mass weight, choachwhip snake skin from Cipriano over sinew backing(heavy course of leg sinew and 4 pieces of shreaded back sinew) , Am. bison horn overlays from Justin Snyder, hemp cordage handle wrap set in Massey finish, Ferret's floppy rest, 4 layers of Tru-Oil and 3 of satin poly.
This little bow is a shooter! I made a silky dogwood arrow that weighs in at 508gr(with 125gr point)and she really zips that arrow. Shoots my hill cane and tapered ash hunting arrows(650gr+) pretty well too even though they are a bit stiff for her.
I am real pleased with how this bow came out. She holds about 3/4" of reflex immediately after unbracing and a bit more after resting. Here are a few preliminary pics. Will get full draw pic later today. Enjoy...
