Cool!  Nice bow! Good job!
Talking trees. What do trees have to talk about, hmm... except the consistency of squirrel droppings?

Thanks for all the kind remarks fellas! I quite like this one as well!
The staves was 63 inch and the finished bow is 62 inch ntn. The recurves were around 1/2 inch thick when I bent them and i've reduced the thickness now so they are a fraction thicker than the thinnest part of the working limb. I bent them by steaming for 40 mins then bending around a form, the form has a stainless steel strap around the outside.

I would kill for a bow like that!  Beautiful bow is a understatement, any plans to paint it?

Thanks guys. The finish is coming along nicely, i've stained it a little and the oil is drying now...The oil is some stuff I found called 'antique oil'. No idea how it's going to end up but so far so good. You're meant to 'apply liberally, leave for an hour then buff off'.
Pics coming!
